Charge for certification
ITI members base their charges on the time taken for certification and their normal rate, as well as the value and convenience to their clients.
Certification, authorization, accreditation or authentication is required when a translation is needed for official purposes. Types of documents that require certification usually include:
Birth, marriage, baptism and death certificates, divorce decrees, change-of-name certificates, visas, passport applications patents, official legal and financial documents. Fees
A fee is charged per document, as each document has to be individually certified. The translation is then accompanied by a signed and dated affidavit explaining who I am and what my credentials are. Clients can subsequently collect the translation in person or have it sent to their home/office, as preferred. |
